Walking Together Toward Home Ownership

The Manuia Group is a consortium of trusted partners working together to support Pacific families in Aotearoa to build financial confidence and move toward owning their first home.

Our Why:

For many of our people, the desire to own a home is strong - but the pathway isn’t always clear.

We’ve seen too many families:

  • Working hard but unsure if they’re “ready”

  • Feeling locked out of the system”

  • Lacking access to the right information and support

  • Trying to figure it out alone

The Manuia First Home Journey was created to change that.

Not just by providing information - but by surrounding people with the right support, at the right time, in a way that reflects who we are.

How we work

This isn’t just about what we teach - it’s about how we walk alongside you.

We know that no two journeys are the same.

Some people are just starting out.
Some are already preparing.
Some feel close, but aren’t quite sure what’s missing.

Wherever you are, we meet you there.

  • Practical:

We focus on real steps you can take - not just theory.
Everything we share is designed to help you move forward in a way that works for your situation.

  • Supportive:

We meet you where you are, without judgment.
Whether you’re just starting or already on your way, you’ll be supported every step of the journey.

  • Culturally Grounded:

We understand that financial decisions are not just individual - they involve whānau, values, and future generations.
Our approach reflects that.

  • Long-Term Focused:

We’re not here for quick wins.
We’re here to help you build a pathway that is sustainable and sets you and your family up for the future.
